Diamonds

Yes. Lab created diamonds have the same physical, chemical, and optical characteristics as natural diamonds, as well as the same fire, scintillation, and sparkle. They are real diamonds. Lab created diamonds are nearly impossible to differentiate from natural diamonds with the naked eye.

Diamonds currently graded by GIA and IGI are laser inscribed on the girdle with an identification number and/or a unique symbol. Laser inscriptions provide peace of mind when making a diamond purchase since they are an easy way to identify a diamond.

All natural diamonds above 0.21 carats each will accompany a Gemological Institute of America (GIA) certificate and either International Gemological Institute (IGI) or GIA certificate for Lab-Grown diamonds above 0.50 carats.

Established in 1931, GIA is the world’s foremost authority on diamonds, colored stones, and pearls. A public benefit, nonprofit institute, GIA is the leading source of knowledge, standards, and education in gems and jewelry.
